Been playing around with the Tamping and puck along with the Rocky grinder - after reviewing a couple of threads on the subject it seems you almost need to just touch the mesh filter when preparing the dose.
But on the silvia there is a nut in the middle with digs right into the puck - so if I was to level my coffee as required I find it difficult sometimes to fit. At the moment I am just a couple of millimeters from the surface almost on the first ridge - bit of tamping to help things in. Run the dose and check the puck, well when its not too tight to get the thing loaded that is - anyway still finding the nut bedded into the puck - tried reducing the amount of coffee - found the puck really wet and hey the nut impression still there.
After seeing a few pics in comparison there is no sign of this ?? So is this just on the silvia ?
And yep its christmas and I want a good coffee..............
