Just boil the water in a saucepan and pour it in your cup, and then directly into the Presso.
Voila--water at the correct temperature and hot cup to boot.

+1 from me - I used to have a Presso too and used my Breville Kettle to make things easier.

The other essential thing you should buy is a naked portafilter from the presso website - a great thing to use and an absolute bargain for $30.

I have a Presso and use the Breville Variable Temp Kettle, I use the coffee setting so is 95 degrees, Ive put a temp probe on it and it gets down to 92 so is still fine for coffees through the Presso.

Oh the answer, yes get one, it makes life so much easier than having to try and work out if the temperature is right from guess work

    started a topic Cuisinart kettle.

    Cuisinart kettle.

I wonder if anyone has had any experience with this kettle. My partner and I have just ordered a Presso and was looking for a new kettle to compliment it.

Multiple heat settings, keep warm function and a filter of some description.
