I have a la scala butterfly e61 hx matched with a mazzer sj but the shots werent as good as I was used to so I went to a service agent asking for some advice. (I already thought it could be stale beans because they were getting close to two months old.
Anyway he asked about the crema (froth he called it) and I began to doubt his advice but he gave me a dual walled basket and said try this and sent me on my way. Mind you I payed nothing for it so when I get home Ill try it out and see how it goes.
He had some beans he also said were great, roast date was thursday so lets get the espresso flowing.
My hopes arent hi so it wont be easy to disappoint. I was just looking for some general feedback and open opinions.
FWIW I suspect chris will have my machine on his bench if things dont get better
