  • Disposable knock box bags/boxes?

Ive recently moved and I was trying to figure out how to fit my coffee setup in my miniscule new place...

    .. and then I had a thought -
Currently (well, before the move), I would just bang my handle against the cupboard and hope the remains fall in the big garbage bags..
..wouldnt it be cool to have disposable knock boxes or disposable knock box bags?

Is wiping a knock box really that much trouble?

Tip the pucks on the garden, wipe it out and youre done.

Wouldnt it be cool if we could dispose of this disposable society? :

Yes, when you have to consider having a garden in the first place, buying/finding the plants you want, watering, clearing, maintaining it in fashionable standards... all 14 levels above ground in the middle of the CBD just so you can have a knock box.  :P

Now wheres that "You know youre a coffee snob when..." thread

At the warehouse, we place ours on the garden beds- good mulch and a natural insecticide.

I got abused by a co-tenant of the estate last week and he reckons they are attracting mice.... Nothing to do with the fact he is working with whole foods of course! :

Damn those coffee puck loving mice! :
Seriously though, I put my used grounds in my worm farm as well as vegie patch and the veg I grow there is thriving.

Hi Lilmeh, I have a few coffee plants in pots and have been dumping my pucks in there. Should be good for your apartment since you cant have a garden.
I had used some worm poo to fertilise and inadvertantly I think there were worm eggs and Ive now got a bunch of earthworms living in the pots happily eating away my pucks. They like to eat under cover so placing a flat rock or two on top of the pucks and moving that around every second day ensures the pucks gets devoured by these hungry worms. The plus side is my coffee plants are benefitting from it all. Now I am actually using smaller pots instead of rocks since recently I have some coffee seedlings that are doing the job.
