    I think its important that if anything is going to go on the top of your machine, you need to let it breathe. Nothing too closed so that you dont cook electronics.

    For the top rack the matchstick mats for rolling nori rolls work well, and are available from the supermarket.

    Those rubber non-slip mats that they sell in rolls at $2 shops do the trick. Easy to rinse out, or just replace when they get crappy.

    protecting your investment

    hey guys!

    I was wondering if anyone who has any great ideas for protecting the metal surfaces of their machine that regularly come into contact with cups!

    My solution for the drain is a towel "duh", but what about the cup holders at the top of the machine? Whatve you guys been doing to protect it from scratches. Especially with machines that have ventilation holes on top .
