  • wobbly on/off switch

My minore is about 10monts old, and the last week or so the on/off switch is a little wobly... it still work fine, just not the usual crisp on off movement...
now the question is i bought it in sydney, through a reputable store so i have all the right paperwork etc.
the question is, i dont want to send it back to syd, for it to come back to melbourne to get fixed...

    any ideas?

    Re: wobbly on/off switch

    Krusty,

I assume you purchased it from a non site sponsor.... :

I would ring the store and see what they can arrange..... (they may provide the approval for you to go direct to the repair agents sight unseen- but often they will want to check that it is faulty).... I seem to remember reading somewhere that the retailer is responsible for returns in the first year of an items "life".... :-/

I dont see any option than to go through the seller in the first instance..... and see what they advise.

      Re: wobbly on/off switch

at the time i bought it there was no sponsor near me (dibartoli missed out by about 4 months).... i was speaking to chris, but he didnt have any minore I stock, and was waiting for the IIs to arrive.... and i couldnt wait...
the place i bought it was pretty good, being run by the AASCA helps....

Do you have a suburb or thereabouts?

EDIT: Never mind, web research says Melbourne but thats all I could find other than mattyj might know where they are.

          mattyj are you there?

            Re: wobbly on/off switch

I read in a post by Simon J on coffeegeek that they are in Koornang Road, Carnegie.
But no phone number (and no luck on white pages).
Perhaps just try the contact option on the expobar web site.

              Re: wobbly on/off switch

I found these numbers on a 2004 CD copy of the White Pages.
They were in the residential listings, but the address is right.
              Probably worth giving a go.

Try the contact form on the site below. Unfortunately no tel number is listed.

thanks for the help. i did manage to get the right number off the seller....
just came by and fixed it (apparently, takeing my wifes word)....
and i purchased a no-burn arm at the same time.... all in a days work.

can any tell me if my 2 hole steam tip that i bought for the standard arm will fit the new arm?
