I had to arrange my visit ahead of time, and it wasn't exactly easy. I work in the museum industry and have contacts in italy that, no doubt, helped smooth the way.
Here's a couple more shots. The second one is the original bar from the FAEMA factory.

    Lucky you Aaron. I'm envious.

I was hoping to visit during HOST. Sadly, it was closed shop unless you were a Faema/Cimbali dealer.

    MUMAC - Coffee Machine Heaven

I have just returned home from a trip through italy where I was lucky enough to visit MuMAC, the coffee machine museum set up by Gruppo Cimbali as part of their 100th anniversary.
It features a collection made up of Cimbali / FAEMA archives and Enrico Maltoni's collection, all housed in a beautifully designed wing beside the factory.
Having been a FAEMA enthusiast for quite some time, this was as close to paradise as I think I will ever be here on earth.
The exhibition is broken up into rooms representing the technological advancements in coffee production starting with steam pressure vertical boiler machines (pre 50's), Lever machines (50's), Pump machines (60's - 70's) electronic dosing and control (80's) and a special room at the end showcasing the latest state of the art machine from Gruppo Cimbali, shown as a real life exploded diagram of parts you can walk around.
