Mmm....remove that LED timer, utilise it, and ditch the rest of the contraption.

Man, all that stuff to support a coffee system thats so bad! Youve got to admire that. The Leyland Marina of Coffee!
Will this get me hate mail from Leyland lovers?

            Hi Segrave,
Youll have to make sure youre free for the next Brissie gathering and bring that magnificent beast along.
I can almost taste the brew now.....

            Cheers,
            Ken

Well the P76 has a certain "je nais ce quoi" - and is a highly sort after collectable these days, the Leyland Marina was a dog of a car.

As for the Coffee Cassette - it probably made a reasonable brewed/filter coffee in its day and it probably holds a 44 gallon drum in the boot.

I wonder if the updated model is a "Coffee CD"?

Do you have a picture of inside the cassette? Im curious if it is using a mesh filter or some weird custom filter papers.

(really dont know why Im curious though)

                  More than likely paper filters.

The thing looks like its over 20 years old.

Dont think I could justify having another machine of such great value to go with my "you beaut" sunbeam....

think my parents had one of these along with a "cafe duo" I think the cassette one had a timer on it so you could set it up at night and program the time you wanted it brewed by, also seem to recall my mother thinking that she could put tea in it and do the same as coffee, also recall lots of arguments about it too lol
                        man that brings back memories!

No that has now been superseded by the coffee bluray, or is that bluray coffee
