E61 portafilter is this unclean or worn or how to clean it

its for the ECM S1...




there is a second hand portafilter which I am eyeing in the NZ's online auction site (but before i hit to bid I'm asking the seller to show me a picture of it under, with baskets off...)

I kind of like the idea of a naked portafilter too....so clean the original ECM, do the second as a naked (or 3rd)...or is that ECM original (as in picture above too badly used??) I don't know so hence I'm asking here...

hope you don't might lending your experienced eye on this...let me know what you reckon..,

Oh the cleaner one is the 'single' i took baskets of both for illustration (obviously the double has been used)

If that's old coffee grime accumulated over time, soaking it overnight in a warm solution of espresso machine cleaner and then washing with a soft cloth and water, repeated over a couple of days might do the trick.
