  • Of COURSE the milk goes in first (video included)

    Anything with the prefix "Nes" has me cringing to begin with...
    Add the words "one touch" and we have a full house.

      Posts like....

      Nespresso = Wow

      I have a Keurig coffee machine which I love but have become a real espresso person over the last couple of years. Recently I decided to purchase the Nespresso Cube and let me tell you WOW !!!

      First this is an amazing machine. With all the choices in espresso roasts there seems to be no end to the amazing espresso this turns out. Even the packaging of the products is amazing from the machine to the accessories.

      I highly recommend the Cube which I purchased on Amazon. I also downloaded a $60 rebate coupon. I higly recommend it

              Looks like a poorly poured Kilkenny that cappa. Makes me want to give up coffee just thinking about it. (composes for sale ad. all the stuff in my sig so I can buy a cube)

                the woman "wishes she brought her camera"... WTF? is she sick? it was the UGLIEST attempt at coffee I ever saw! Yet the american salesman continued to prattle on about how great it all was... *pukes*

                Makes me sick that people drink bad coffee... Some poor cow gave up milk for that. What a waste.

                  heh... i was on holidays during february this year. we went to japan and couldnt find good coffee. language barrier, maybe, but i just never saw anything looking like a "cafe" or any nice machines in the fronts of the shops so i didnt really pursue it. not that it mattered - i could live off green tea and freakie deakie vending machine drinks forever (warm "espresso" in a can....)

                  went to london and paid 6 pounds for the worst coffee ive had in my life.

                  went to switzerland and stayed with a friend of my gf... we had filter coffee for a week in an apartment in the mountains and then went back to their place for a week in gossau and she had a pod machine. to be honest, the espresso is not terrible. id drink it over instant any day, but its certainly not good. its funny, the departments stores all have racks upon racks of "pod" machines, the same way we have 50 auto/semi-autos, a bunch of machines you wouldnt think about using and sunbeam plus a gaggia in our myers. its weird.

                  we did a day trip to luzern (9hrs of train rides) basically so we could go to the italian part of the country and get a good cup. it was awesome...

                  bottom line, while its easy to rip on the americans and europeans for their single serve coffee, it really is a better alternative to the drip percolators theyve been using for years. certainly a long way to come, though...
