If the machine is properly earthed and it is connected to a circuit protected by a RCD or safety switch, wet hands is not a big worry. In the above case, it's a perfect storm of electrical fault, non-earthed appliance, non existent or non-functioning safety switch and total ignorance of the combined dangers of the above by the owners.
As for bear feet, if you've successfully got them off the bear, a mild dose of 240V should not pose a problem for you.

Scary to think there are people out there who do this stuff. I have a Expobar minore iv, and in the manual it says "don't use the machine with wet hands or bear feet". Reading this email puts it in context for me. 😨😱 I certainly will be respcting my machine.

Probably just a PSU capacitor without a bleed resistor....Originally posted by noidle22 View PostI particularly enjoy getting a shock off the Diadema Unico Splendor machines' power plug after you unplug it. We measured the residual voltage at the two pins of the power plug after the machine had been on and compared it to the Australian safety standard, it failed. I'd say all these machines, unless modified accordingly, do this.

I hope they also supplied the rubber gloves--a bitch to spend all that money on a machine then have to go out and buy some.

Yep, they should definitely make up a warning sign. A warning sign will guarantee that no one does anything stupid..........won't it?Originally posted by coffee_machinist View Postyeah I guess as long as all operators of the machine wear rubber gloves she'll be right. Probably they should at least make up a sign.
