Morning Martin,Originally posted by Mb21 View PostSorry if not not in right place but hoping to get some feedback on buying some new cups. Not really enjoying drinking from the wife's pretty flower mugs!
looking at getting some large latte cups (300ish ml) for the morning double or triple latte and possibly some 150-170ml tulips or espresso cups.
Found a place that seems to sell Rockingham cups at a cheap price compared to Acme cups and others but wondering if they cheap for a reason? Anything I'm missing or should I be happy I found a good deal?
thanks

Why not place a wanted to buy advertisement here Coffee Hardware For Sale cups come up for sale quite regularly, lots of Coffee Snobs change or duplicate cups and offer their old ones at a very fair price, just remember to mention a price your willing to pay (forum rules) bargains can be had.
As well as the brands already mentioned ACF are also good quality cups, no longer made, worth watching out for.

I have Premier Tazze/formerly Rockingham cups in espresso and cappuccino and am very happy with them. They look good and are nice thick solid ceramic, they feel traditional but stylish as well.
I even knocked one of espresso cups off the top of my machine onto the bench and surprised it didn't break. It now has a visible crack inside but seems otherwise ok and holds liquid fine.
Maybe they are trying to clear the cups that are still under the old Rockingham name.

Thanks Mal. Seen some happy owner of R'hams as well as Acme and D'Ancap cups but the budget doesn't really get justify that money right now when there are 20 other 'perfectly good other mugs' such as the wife's beautiful M&W gold and pastel flower mugs

Have read of other CSers buying and using R'ham cups and were very happy with same.
Also have a look through some of our Site Sponsor webpages; some really nice cups available there...
