Question for Ocd v2 owners
Great news the supplier has replaced my OCD. I got it today, great customer service the whole way along, the version I just got seems to be packaged a lot better and there is some good instructions. I'm very pleased to have it back, I am very happy to recommend this tool of your looking to spend some cash.

Consistency yes. Better extractions dunno. I also don't do pure ocdv2 (see my post in the monolith thread.)
I haven't done serious testing vs the Kafatek tool.
Seem better than WDT or Tapping on their own for consistent* shot.
*Visual / taste / flowrate, I don't own a refractometer.

It's pretty poor isn't it. I'll send a photo to the company. ThanksOriginally posted by level3ninja View PostThat ding on the edge is no good. I'd be inquiring about a replacement for that part, given what you must have paid for it!

I've only used it for 5 coffee's so far, I'm not a good candidate to answer. I've still had some channeling, but some noticeable improvement. Sadly the finish on the outer rim that sits on the basket came scratched on mine(see pic), I don't know if it's a big deal I just don't want it to scratch my basket.
I will give it a full week and see if it's an improvement. I struggle with consistency when it comes to distribution, so the real attraction for me was the hope that it would solve all my issues, I'm not convinced yet.
Those wondering from another thread it does appear to have a patent pending.
