I thought Id straddle both ends of this spectrum, a commercial extreme machine at one end, and now here, a plunger.

Weve just bought a small one as an alternative to the stove top when we spend time on our boat.

What do I know about them? Nothing. :-[

How much water? What weight of beans? Coarse or fine grind? How long to steep...So many questions, for which I am sure you good people will have the answers.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.
