Has anyone been able to install a brew pressure gauge into an E98 Head? I have the S1 Compact too and wanted to put in a gauge for extraction pressure like you can with the E61 head.

Yes as above, E98 is very popular group across numerous cimbali and famea machines.

For the group seals, I had good success with the comical ones, and also keeping the area the seal sits against very clean.

    Cheers

Hi , the E98 uses mostly Cimbali parts, the portafilter will be Cimbali , as will the group seal. It's mostly based on the Cimbali Junior or M21 machine

    Difference between e61 and e98

I recently got my hands on a Faema Compact s1 e98 without a portafilter. The group head looks the same as my others machine which has e61. The e61 handle does fit in but I think it needs a handle that is more of a straight T shape as the handle I have has the T part on a diagonal, if that’s makes sense. Anyway been researching but haven’t found what the difference between e61 and e98
