I changed to old grey gasket this morning for a new blue one.
It leaked like a sieve.
Luckily Sunbeam had included a spacer but the instructions didnt include its installation.
Seems they are very new.
After a few phone calls I finally confirmed that the help line operators were all wrong and the spacer goes on FIRST!
It looked promising at first when the handle locked in about dead centre instead of all the way to the right.
The pour started well for a the first few seconds but then the seal started to leak.
The handle locks in a bit further around now after several more trial runs.
Its like the seal is moving up and bedding in.
Unfortunately its still leaking.
I backed of a notch on the grinder before the first shot just to play safe.
Same coffee, same grinder, new gasket.
Any clues?

) of use, the p/f now locks in about 30-40* past perpendicular with no leaking.
