Jeez you lot got spoiled didnt you??

But Im still very happy with my non-coffee related presents. A Pioneer head unit that is Ipod ready. Its fantastic, you can control the whole ipod through the head unit/remote control...playlists, artists, genres, songs, albums etc.

    Happy coffee making!

    Hi guys
Mine was a Silvia, Mazzer Mini, Sinesso double basket and Pulman - although I must confess to having picked this up a couple of weeks ago. Another very satisified customer for Mark at The Coffee Barun. Just waiting for him to drop over and check out my technique as a final follow up.
Starting to get some very nice results in time for Xmas.
Given space issues, I havent been using the hopper on the mini, just dosing direct into the throat as required, with a very helpful blind filter basket as a cap; does seem to be keeping things clean and tidy. Also a couple of squares of marg container into the bottom of the doser arms to sweep the doser clean.

    Couldnt be any happier !

    Re: Christmas Presents

My girlfriend bought me a Vibiemme Domobar Levetta and a Coffeelab tamper, however, she was a little disappointed with the choice of tampers after seeing the Pullman tamper on display at The Coffee Barun about 2 weeks ago. She had already purchased both and they were delivered from Melbourne about a month ago(a little too late to change). I am super happy though. Will look at a Pullman tamper down the track. Next items on the list will be a Motto jug and naked portafilter.

I bought myself a Presso and Cameron threw in a T-shirt and some coffee.

My wife bought me some chocolates.
One sort is covered in white chocolate and topped with a coffee bean.
One sort is shaped like a coffee cup (including handle) and is filled with white flaky chocolate so it looks like a cappuccino.

Best present though was a set of digital scales, which Ill be using for my roasting.
