Has anyone tried to temperature surf using NOT the brew switch, but the STEAM switch?
The idea, of course, is to time and switch off well before the steam thermostat cuts out, because by then the water would be too hot for coffee extraction.
Why would you bother? Just in case the normal brew temperature is a little below desirable, which can be the case with many machines.
Interesting thought which would require instruments and experimentation to find the ideal times.
