Re: NEED SOME HELP CLEANING A BOILER
Hey spressoman,
Did you manage to get a replacement tube thinggy for the inside of the boiler, or are you going to try making one yourself?
I reckon Greg Pullman will be able to tell you anything you ever wanted to know about Quaha Junior II boiler repairs. He makes a damn fine tamper, too!

Re: NEED SOME HELP CLEANING A BOILER
SM,
Depends whats in it but if its just scale then a citric acid solution would do the job. Dissolve some Citric Acid in hot water at a ratio of 1g to 100ml of final solution and add it to however much cold you need to make it up. E.g. to make 1L, dissolve 10ml in hot water and add it to :
990ml of cold water. Rubbery figures of course, something along those lines will do.
I wouldnt use silicon for the seals; just get new ones is the best way if theyre available.

NEED SOME HELP CLEANING A BOILER
Hello everyone.
I was just wanting some advice from those who are in the know, of how to clean an already dismantled 300 ml boiler?
What cleaning agents are safe to use and what to avoid?
Also, what kind of silikon should I be using on the seals at the time of putting it back together?
Thank you for your inputs.
