To answer the last bit of your question, a random portafilter of the same nominal size as yours may not fit due to factors such as the orientation and dimensions of the lugs. Seems like you can get them from BigWarehouseSpares. $154...

For my machine I took my standard portafilter, stuck it on a lathe and cut the bottom off to turn it into a botomless. You might not have to buy any replacements or worry about any dimensions.

That said, my portafilter was made of brass. Those inbuilt machines don't look like they would have much brass in them, your portafilter might be made out of something much harder to machine (stainless steel) or something that requires re-coating on the machined surfaces (aluminium, plastic).

Just looking at the images in the User Manual, appears to be a variant of the Quaha/Imat/Lelit range of machines.
These were used in a variety 3rd party designs like the Baumatic. Jet Black Espresso might the best people to contact regarding possible options/solutions for you...

How do I measure the portafilter diameter

I inherited an odd semi automatic machine when I moved house. A Baumatic BAEC2SS.2 But it’s got a weirdly small portafilter diameter, the instructions don't give the dimensions. Im after a bottomless filter for it, How do I measure the diameter so that I get one that will fit? Internal external, do the size of the lugs matter etc. Cheers.
