I bought an el cheapo water testing and I have doubts about he results. Anyone know of a proven home drinking water testing kit or system? Thanks.

my understanding is that some pro water shops have a service of testing your water for free as part of their service, like just bringing in a cup of water to a shop. I'm sure they would be glad to help highlight the difference between your current water results and their variety of different water filtration options that they have on sale
that being said, I've just been ok with these that I got after buying a Brita C150 purity kit.

in terms of its reliability of testing, who knows. I'm just leaving my faith with the Brita gods and am praying that I don't get limescale in my machine in a few years haha

The site sponsor I bought my machine from recommended Bombora supplies.
I got a sterile bottle from the chemist filled it and mailed it to them for testing.
I cost me less than $20 for all up.
Of course it then cost me a couple of hundred for a filtration system to plumb everything in but cheap for the peace of mind.
This reminds me that I need to send a second sample for testing now that it has had a couple of months to settle in.
