The RS Part No.688-1029 referred to in that thread is rated to a max temperature of 110C so should be Ok...

Bingo, on your prompting, I tried a few other keywords in search and found a source - not sure I need a 100 ? Heatshrink is starting to look good.

    Thanks again

Heatshrink was plan B, which is looking to soon to be promoted to plan A.

    Thanks for the reply.

Looking for a source for spade connector covers

    Hi,

Just finishing up my refurb/rebuild of my 2006 Silvia, and looking to replace a couple of the spade connector covers that are beginning to disintegrate.

I'm looking for ones that will push over the existing attached female spade connector. I have not had much luck, as what I've found thus far would require cutting off the existing connector to put the cover on the wire before attaching a new connector - something I'm not keen to do.

I'd be grateful for a pointer to a push-on connector cover if anybody knows a source.

    cheers
    - Kevin
