Who is it that keeps selling people Linea Minis and not checking what water they're feeding it? Bet they'll be happy to sell them a whole new one when it breaks.

    Pureau with Third Wave Water

I own a Linea Mini but unfortunately living arrangements doesn’t allow me to install an inline filter so I’ve been using water from brita filter jugs to fill the tanks for the last year or so. However I’ve read that brita filters aren’t really ideal for coffee machines and have had my first gilcleur block earlier this month.

I’ve been researching online and am really interested in PureAu water. Problem is according to the label, there is 0 dissolved solids it, and with a quick search I was told that that would not be ideal as it would be corrosive to stainless steel boilers.

was wondering if anyone else has any experience using PureAu water for their coffee machines and how’d that went? Did you guys remineralise it with say third wave water sachets or by any other means? Would straight up using PureAu water damage/compromise my coffee taste/machine?

had a quick search on this site and people have had discussions regarding this but I haven’t found anything conclusive

Thanks in advanced for your help!
