  • 100-200 kPa Pressure reduction valve for plumb in

    Hey guys,

I just bought a new Profitec Pro 700 and would like to plumb it in.

The manual states it needs a pressure regulator where the pressure is between 100-200 kPa.
I already have a two stage filter and was going to add an inline filter for softening. I thought it would be as easy as grabbing the necessary plastic john guest pressure reducer for $25 or so but I can't seem to find anything in this range. My water filter reducer is 350 kPa which seems to be the most common.

I've googled and looked through the forums but can't seem to find an answer. I thought it would be easy to find something on a coffee shop online.

    Any help is appreciated!

Try contacting where you purchased the machine, they should be able to provide these as they are required.

Cheers, i will do when they open tomorrow. I thought there might be a few other ECM/Profitec owners that might know where to grab the necessary reducer.

I to had this concern when initially setting up my ECM, pressure gauge sits at just over 3 bar when left alone. About 10 months in and all is good…. I forget who gave me the advise that it wasn’t something to be concerned about. From memory the only way I could see it being achieved was with an adjustable unit from a plumbing shop like Reece’s or I did find(the adjustable type) them on eBay….

Ok, I just spent the best part of the evening working out what I needed. I got an adjustable unit from a water filter place along with all the other fittings and softening filter. Cheers!
