Looking around for a replacement basket I decided an IMS B702TFH22 was for me. Key features being that it is ridgeless, flat bottomed and advertised to suit a 14/16g dose. The height of my current basket is 22.5mm and I can squeeze up to 18g in it, the IMS is 22mm tall which suits me as my target dose for this basket is 16 to 16.5 grams. Alas, when I went shopping I found that most sellers in Australia only seem to have the convex bottom ones, distinguished by a C in the part number instead of the F, and only seem to have the larger sizes, 24mm and up.

So my first questions are, does anyone have any experience with usability or difference in shots from convex vs flat bottom, and does anyone know any sellers that might have the smaller baskets.

Then I came across Pesado baskets, made by IMS with the same hole arrangement and available in a 22.5mm with what appears to be a flat bottom. This could be my solution but one thing I’d like to confirm is whether the outer diameter of the flange is 70mm or smaller like 68 or 66mm. IMS make a few sizes and Pesado don’t list it on their website. It might not be a deal breaker but I would prefer to stick with 70mm like my current basket.
