I'm not sure whether the o-rings on my Grimacs need replacing. Some are probably at least 15 years old and the profile is more flat than curved.
if they aren't sealing, some brew water could be pumping straight down past them into the cam chamber and out the shower screen...instead of up and through the restrictor on top of the mushroom.
What, if any, are the tell-tale symptoms of a necessary replacement?
I suspected perhaps wet baskets (empty ones during idle). But is that from water already residing in the channels back from the shower screen? Or from water dripping down past the mushroom seal, into the cam chamber, evaporating and condensing into the basket?
Dunno. But probably time for new ones.

Adventurer, profile=o-ring shape, not coffee.
