I use the "grounds control" model from the coffee knock drawer company and I find it really good.
At 21cm wide it's much more usable than the 11cm wide knock box I had before. The knock bar is really sturdy and the bar and rubber feet do a good job of dampening the sound which is good for early morning shots!
That model has vents so I haven't had mould issues but having said that I empty it every 2 or 3 days just in case. Wiping the inside with paper towel keeps it clean during the week and I wash it at the weekend. No hassle at all.
Finally, I personally think the knock drawers look much better than a knock box and you can sit your grinder or accessories on it to keep your station organised.

Knock Drawers - any good?

I have the ecm clim knock box drawer and really like the space it saves. I didn’t put my grinder on top but I sit my tamper, WDT, spray bottle and such on top. Looks a lot more neater than a big knock box. I can easily fit 15+ pucks before needing to empty it, I usually just stack them and then empty each week. Give it a wash in the sink every few weeks, haven’t had mould build up so far

no idea, but i am going to do exactly the same thing. The cub pro's have caught my eye and they do look the goods. I dont think there would be any issue with mould, and you'd empty it daily and it does have air vents.
Also looks to be one of the silent ones around and comes in a matte black finish which will suit my key perfectly.
Another thing is it will raise the key up to a better level for adjusting grinds.
Currently i have an in bench knock box, so i can fall back on that if i dont like the drawer, and just on sell it, but i think it will work well

Knock Drawers - any good?
Hello,
Was thinking of getting a knock drawer to sit under my Weber Key in my beautifully renovated new kitchen, but can't find much info about peoples experience with knock Drawers.
Are they any good? Does mould build up in them, and are they fairly easy to keep clean? I am in Cairns so a tropical climate with plenty of humidity conducive to rapid mould growth in coffee grinds.
Any feedback would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Cam
