Thanks for the recommendation noidle22. I will see if I can source one of those and give it a go.

The Breville 58mm disc will fit all 58mm baskets, I've used them in nearly everything with success.

You shouldn't leave your EM6910 under full pressure with a blind disc but you can do backflushing, just make sure to shut the pump down before it sits at full pressure for too long.

No, you can't use a proper blind filter for the EM6910. The back pressure would be too great. That's why the grey silicon-rubber disc that came with the machine has a small hole in it, ie, to lessen the pressure.

Rubber backflush disc that fits the VST baskets

Has anyone found a rubber backflush disc that fits the VST baskets ?

I use a 18g VST precision basket in my Sunbeam em6910 machine and neither the sunbeam grey disc nor the generic black rubber disc fit well (they are too small to create a good seal).

Can anyone recommend a suitable disc - I don't want to have to swap out the filter each time and would prefer a rubber insert.

Also can anyone advise if a full blind type is okay for an em6910 or does it need to have the hole just like the grey sunbeam disc?
