Paul Bassett 2003 WBC, from Melbourne and largely responsible for development of the latest SunBeam coffee products.

The last 3 World Latte Art Champions were Australians but I dont know who won the first WLC. (there seem to have only been 4 to date)

            how do these championships work?

Do the entrants all have a chance to make 1 latte?

are they judged on taste, speed, creativity?

who are the judges? other Baristas? like retired champions?

I need to help the market by keeping the good people roasting already in business  ;D

I am going to buy my  next lot of coffee from the coffee snobs place

Though i will certainly keep your recommendations in mind for future bean purchases!!!   8-)

Well isnt someone going to tell the poor guy that the same person is running under three different titles here?? Or would that be spoiling the surprise? ;D Anyway, I hope 2mcms recommendation about Talk Coffee is right, and that that Chris bloke is all hes cracked up to be! After all, would 2mcm really know anyway?

                              Greg Pullman and Thundergod,

That would be poor girl  :P

funny thing is i thought when i read the post from someone about 2muchcoffeeman thinking the guy from talk coffee is pretty affable as well, being to do with the same name, i wondered if it was the same person.
So i went and had a look at coffee talks post and saw they had posted recently under that name so figured it must be different people   :

How stupid do i feel right now!!    :-[

I knew i shouldnt have said anything about it until it was all over!!

at least then i wouldnt have to face Chris  :-[

                              Greg Pullman,
I didnt think it was worth emailing you until monday but now i have you in this thread  can you give me an approximate time frame for receiving one of your tampers please

oh and what is talk coffee / 2muchcoffeemans 3rd alias??

                                Re: unsure and need help

                                Hi Oonga,

Just to further confuse you..... I am the other half of Pullman Espresso Accessories (but not actually Greg!)....

From receipt of payment it generally takes a few days to make your tamper - except if you want custom engraving and that normally takes an additional week or so. However our engraver is closed until the 19th..... so probably about 3 weeks from now.

Postage is about a week (by registered and insured mail which we recommend) or about 2 days by Express post.

Chris AKA Talk Coffee AKA 2mcm.... also carries a range of our tampers - so that is another possibility.

Good luck with your hunt for a new machine.

                                Robin.
