Re: Expobar Minore II - Steamwand Tip Replacement
Cool thanks for that guys, so thats one for clockwise, one for anticlock-wise... Can anyone else confirm?
I dont have a pic TG, its just the standard Minore II setup which I bought about 6 months ago-ish, so whatever comes from the factory is what I have.
I may just get the machine serviced and have them change the wand tip for me. Is there a Expobar Service centre in Brisbane? (or a sponsor I can take my machine to so I can get it serviced?).

Re: Expobar Minore II - Steamwand Tip Replacement
If it is tight, wrap a cloth around wand and grab with pliers to avoid scratching.
With another set of pliers you should be able to turn tip.
I have played with a few Minores and am sure the tip comes of clockwise.
Dont squeeze wand or tip to hard with pliers
sponsor at left coffeeroasters.com.au carry parts and have 4 holed tips to suit minore.
Could be tight due to burnt milk build up, if this is the case i would take wand off machine and soak. Then clean with pipe cleaner.
dont soak the wand in jug whilst connected to the machine, you could end up contaminating the boiler.

Re: Expobar Minore II - Steamwand Tip Replacement
I put a cool touch wand on my Expobar Leva.
The tip unscrews anti-clockwise.
Do you have a picture of yours?

Expobar Minore II - Steamwand Tip Replacement
I need to replace/clean the steamwand tip on my Expobar Minore 2, can anyone confirm for me that the tip itself simply unscrews (anti-clockwise)? Or is it a case of removing the whole steamwand itself?
I have tried a few times to unscrew it but to no avail and as it seemed so tight, I didnt want to force it without confirming it simply unscrews first! If it makes any difference, I believe the steam wand is the cool touch type.
I plan to replace it with a 2-hole steamtip available from Coffee Parts, does anyone know if these tips will fit correctly?
Happy Sipping!
