    Hi Virgil
The La Scala Butterfly would fit in your price bracket and it has similar specs to the Rocket Giotto but bigger boiler @ 2L. Nearly brought one. Ive seen the butterfly for $2380 or less.

As would the Diadema Regal 1.3l But i think they come in at $2550 rrp
the 2l version at $2950 rrp

Certainly are some nice Wega prices at Di Bartoli! Nice time to buy.

I think Chris gave me a very good reason to go for a heat exchanger, and I like the look of Wega, so probably I will contact Di Bartoli, they have a special on the Wega.

I dont really like the retro look, this is why the Wega made it to the list and about a dual boiler I think Expobar is the only one in the under 2500 price range. Any other opinions, options? I am still listening, that is why I made the username on CS.

    Hi Virgil and welcome...

For mine, your brief is HX without a doubt.

If you keep in mind that each time you lift that group handle, youre pulling under 80ml of water from a 1.5L boiler in the expobar, it would take a long time to turn over the boiler contents. I think a HX machine with flash heated, oxygenated fresh water will ultimately deliver a better cup for you. Alternately, flush a heap of water throught the brew boiler each day.

    regards

    Chris

Why did you decide on these two machines?
