Thanks for the info Chris,
I was hoping that it would be a simple swap over, but nothings ever easy though :.
Youre a treasure trove of information, as usual.
Thanks again,
Steve.

Hello all,
I was wondering if a Sirai or Parker pressure-stat would fit into a Giotto premium (with or without some mods) as a replacement for the standard Ma-ter unit?
If not, does anyone know of a local source for the Jaeger pressure-stat, which is advertised on a US site as a more heavy duty unit than the standard item. They can be sourced and shipped from that company, however the different voltage rating would not suit our local 230-240V.
Thanks in advance,
Steve.
Hi Lovey- you will need a Mater to replace the Jager. Any ECA service agent should be able to supply one and they are also available from coffeeparts.
If you want to go to a sirai, you need more voltage. The easiest way is to install a Giotto premium plus proelind control board and wiring loom and upgrade the pressurestat then... it will cost you though $$$...
