They were like other San Marino Compact HX units. Except for the dead one I passed on to another as a project.

Your asking "How long is a piece of string " ...
You need to put some context around the question....

Re: San Marino Compact HX
darrel,
Im rebuilding one as AM mentioned. The San Marino Compact CK with the plastic top. Its is the same internally to the Wega Mininova and the Astoria Compact CK. The new Wega Mininovas only differ by the group, which is a E61.
Take a look at a few reviews online or if you lucky a cser that owns or has owned one might see your thread.

Re: San Marino Compact HX
darrel,
Ive got the manual if your interested.
They are dual HX, so a separate HX pipe for hot water and brew. The steam is generated in the main 2lt boiler. It has an internal tank and can be easily plumbed. To change it over you just attached the mains water and flick a switch.
For the prices its selling I think its a bargain. You will beable to brew and steam at the same time which is probably the only problem I have with my Miss Lucy. Just remember to factor in a decent grinder if you dont have one.
Oh and if you buy it, let me know how you go.
