    Hi decnal

I recommend that you should go down and see Roger (Supreme Roasters) to get your hands on the mentioned machines and im sure that you will not go home with empty hand ;D

    Re: Giotto service cost

Thanks for the replies and recommendations for a service

The Diadema Junior Plus deals at Supreme Roasters look really good but the prices are not far off my total budget and I also need to purchase a grinder, ideally a second hand Mazzer Mini or maybe a new Compak K3 Touch

Ive had a few different thermoblock machines & appliance grinders over the years but having recently returned from more than a decade in Europe and starting from scratch again, Ive decided that it is time to get some decent hardware

Ive lusted after a Giotto for some time and, being honest with myself, I know that I will struggle to be objective when looking at other machines

    In addition to KKs post

    QCMS - La Nuova Era

Any number of others but not sponsors and one always need to be careful with servicing and electrical issues in QLD and other states.

Ive searched through the forums and from what I can gather $150-$300 is the ball park, depending on what is required. Does that sound about right?
Most of the cost is attributed to parts and if new parts are required

If the budget can be pushed I would also recommend looking at new machines e.g the Diadema at $1,999/$2,099 respectively http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1251468789
Diadema Junior Plus Semi-Automatic RRP: $2,350 Discounted Price: $1,999
Diadema Junior Plus Levetta RRP: $2,450 Discounted Price: $2,099

Bargain prices, Id be jumping at these. I tried to talk the CS member who bought my Giotto yday into buying one of these instead.

    Decnal

We service the ECM/Rocket machinery and are based out of Yatala, QLD.

As you have pointed out yourself the work required would be completely dependent on the state of the machine you decide to purchase. I have however forwarded you through our pricing structure for servicing to give you a guideline for when looking at machines.

If the budget can be pushed I would also recommend looking at new machines e.g the Diadema at $1,999/$2,099 respectively http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1251468789 which is going for an amazing price right now or we also have a display model Giotto 6 months young at $2,500 with incentives.

Feel free to contact me direct if you have any questions or if I can assist you further.

    Kind Regards,

    Roger Bright

    Giotto service cost

    Hi all,

Im planning to pickup a second-hand ECM Giotto Premium (or something similar), 4-5 years old, if I can find one at a reasonable price. Something like the one advertised here that went today in Adelaide would be perfect.

My question for you CSs… once Ive got hold of one, how much can I expect to pay to have it serviced, assuming that nothing major is wrong?

Ive searched through the forums and from what I can gather $150-$300 is the ball park, depending on what is required. Does that sound about right?

Also, any recommends for machine service in Brisbane would be great
