Ok thanks for the reply KK.

I read on homebarista that clean water backflushing should be done daily and coffee detergent weekly, will this cause the seals to wear out quicker?
Water back-flush is good on a daily basis
But I tend to chemical back-flush after 1 kg of coffee has gone through the machine

Is it normal for the lever to pop out a little during a backflush.?
    Yes its normal
The pressure does it but the seals hold the water back

    Vibiemme lever during backflushing

Hi, I am a new owner of a VBM Domobar Super.

Is it normal for the lever to pop out a little during a backflush.? Happens when I backflush and when the brew pressure hits 10.0 and stays here. Returns to original position when I release it. No leaks from lever. This is my first espresso machine and not sure whether this normal.

Overall steep learning curve(sometimes to the point of hair pulling!) but enjoying the challenge and getting better with practice!
