    Re: Old La San Marco

There is a pump and motor on the Bay of evil at present : Roeheln Industries in Melbourne if you want a Procon are a better price.

If it is anything like the boiler of my Izzo (same parentage) it will be battleship tough and most likely a 5L.+

I reckon most of the sponsors would have a graveyard of old machines with suitable rotary pumps out the back, maybe group email them and see what they are willing to sell you secondhand?

why is there no pump, how are they using it? (or not)

i would think its a rotary pump - procon / rotoflow etc
and you woudl need a motor as well (assuming nohing comes with it)

at $485 for pump and motor.......
    http://www.coffeeparts.com/misc/motor-pumps.html

it might be possible to get a 2nd hand one but it might have unknown issues as well.

i often wonder if you could use  a vibe pump on one of these and a simple tank of water?

I like the look of those san marcos

PM the details me if you dont buy it .....
    Agree with the above comments...

A: A second hand rotary can be had for less...

B: A vibe could be fitted

When maheel gets to Brisbane - maheel and I are going to be in crap city as it appears that we both like to tinker and can not resist the old pigs ear and the chance of an outcome of a silk purse / handbag  ;D

    Old La San Marco

I have found this for sale locally for a very reasonable price, however the owner says that it has no pump. I cant tell the model number from the pic to be able to do any research and discover if it is worth taking a punt on.
Could anyone who is more knowledgeable than me provide any suggestions?

/edit from what i can find, it looks to be a model 85  - anyone had chance to play with one of these, and knows what type of pump they use so that i can price that into the equation?

Working...
