  • BFC Diadema Junior boiler problem

I have been losing steam pressure and the boiler only occasionaly refils after removing water from the hot water tap.
I did a search and found the problem was with the water sensor. When I unplugged it, after powering off, I found it would keep refilling when I turned the power back on. This was good because I got three coffees out of it for family breakfast.
However, Icarus flew too close to the sun On the next occasion I overfilled the boiler, with water splattering, then the house power tripped out.
My question now is; How do I drain some water from the boiler? The "tap" is a solenoid which wont open until pressure(or temp) is stabilized, and the circuit trips before that happens!
If I can get past this hurdle then I can look at the original problem which is how to remove the sensor for cleaning or replacement :-/

Ya playing with WATER and 240V and Control boxes that you should not be playing with.. Google and searches may assist, but can also make things worse...

OK, some good progress has been made. I removed the sensor probe and found it to be scaled up. I cleaned it and siphoned 200mls of water through the hole.
It was an easy job once I found a tube spanner to fit!
Its amazing that I have so much scale building up despite three levels of water filtration!
