  • Panel beating for espresso machine?

I recently bought a used Isomac Zafiro on eBay. Unfortunately, it was damaged in transit and two corners of the drip tray were bent (see attached photo). Does anyone know where/how I could get it fixed? Ive called a few panelbeaters but nobody seems to want to touch it.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Where are you located...

Most P/Beaters would not understand what you want in teh first instance.

Now a sheet metal place where they work with Sheet Metal and SS all the time would take about 5 min. Best way would be to drop in and put your self at their mercy, rather than phone calls and misunderstandings.

As a crash shop owner I would echo AMs opinion. A panel beater or sheet metal worker should be able to dress that up without too much worry. To make the damage invisible may need extra work, it will depend on a number of factors.

      Steve.

Of course if you are able to get it to Shepparton I would be more than happy to look after it for you.

          Hey Ben,

I have used this guy in Penrith and hes a CHAMP.
He has made a replacement panel for a machine and done lots of little repairs and polishing of stainless for me. He is ok with one of jobs and doesnt charge much.
          Cheers, Craig

                Cheers,

                Ben

                    Hey Ben,

Thats strange you had no luck with this guy (below).
I just called Brett on his mobile explained the situation and told him a friend has a coffee machine that was damaged in transport, and he told me was able and willing to do the repairs to the stainless panels (a few weeks turn around).

Im sorry i may have assumed too much, this guy is not a coffee machine tech, hes a stainless sheet metal worker, and he isnt going to take the machine apart if needed. You would either need to dismantle it yourself or get a professional to take it apart if needed.
