  • Expobar Minore III - Mods

I will ignore the mods and tweeks that I have performed as to enhancing performance and the additional hardware I bought due to the CS Meet and Greet (Gra your a dead man... Oh by the way, those png Elephant; Are OK).

Wife still likes the DCM over the Minore III, which is  8-) 8-)

Have roughed out two group handles, two taps (Steam and HotWater) and a rough blank for the mini lever used to run the system ( All in a red hardwood).   Also looking to remove the Exopbar name off the waist tray and use the mounting holes to mount a handle  :-?

With the mini lever knob I thought it might be screwed on, however it appears to just spin on the shaft.

    My question is:

Does any one know first hand; if the plastic knob on this small lever is screwed or just pressed on ? I do not want to use brute force if not needed.

And as you only need 1 set for your machine, Id like some too

Hows the 24 g basket working?
What other mods have you done?

            ROFLMAO

            All in good time

24g basket is still taking some getting use to. Also have some commercial beans at the moment and I think I will revert back to my known roasts....

Mods to date are really some tweaks as to the PID profile / Steam Pressure and Group Pressure with a Temp check to confirm the PID offset.

Now it is about learning how to get the best from it re Grind / Bean / Tamp... OH and also learning to do milk again ;D

I would like to get Bezzera Giulia tap assemblies for my ExpoBar Minore III.

Does anyone know how far they stick out?

Its always good to see old posts pop up which gives you ideas of doing things to the machines we own. I agree the wooden handles are nice. Making me want to do the same to mine
