You would be mad not to check the sponsor pages for an ex-demo machine or package.

If youre lucky with your timing you could pick up a real nice grinder and machine for your budget.

Chris from Talk Coffee put this post in his sponsors section the other week and it would be a great place to start.

A core group of sponsors are going to have a crack at taking turns to do one each Friday to summarise current offers and whats on for the weekend.

Ofra and Renzo of Di Bartoli have their EOFY sale
Den of Cuppacoffee has advised that tomorrow will be your last opportunity to sample a godshot from his beautiful 52 Faema Mercurio before it goes. Grab some coffee while youre there Wink
Talk Coffee EOFY sale and I have some cheap Breville Smart grinders as well as information about the new Breville Dual boiler machine offers. My Izzo Pompeii Izzo Nuova Pompeii is also looking for a new owner. Were open for shots and chatter from 9-1 tomorrow.
Greg Pullman of Pullman Espresso has advised that his VST baskets have arrived and are now on sale.
Attilio and the CosmoreX crew have their EOFY sale happening...
Jack at Sorrentina Coffee has his funky new roaster for sale!
Charlie and Deb at Jetblack have a bench full of great gear as well as some special stuff happening with Lelit machines. Their VST baskets are on the way as well...

In reality there are a number of machines you could consider within your budget.  You should really speak to some sponsors and ideally visit them to see the equipment in the flesh. Where are you located?

    See http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1306154349

I think it represents great value for a dual boiler. Youd be looking at a dual boiler or HX for that money, and I personally think DBs are more stable.

HX wise you could get a VBM Domobar Junior and a K3 Touch grinder, plenty of people on here have the same combo and is within your price range with sponsors having good deals on this.

Just checking, do you need a new grinder in that price as well or not?  If so it is often possible to get a reasonable package deal from one of the sponsors.

If you can get to one of the sponsors and try a few machines you will soon know what suits your needs, and get some good advice.
Not fussed could include grinder or plus grinder

hmmm, this is just me but I would consider the Bezzera Strega Lever machine. Should be a very robust long lived piece of machinery and looks pretty damn fine.

Or grab a two group Lusso from me- and use the remaining 1500 for a trip to New York!

up to $3,000.00 Budget what should I buy

    Hi All

Newby here and looking to upgrade.

As the title says, have some coin to spend on a new machine and have no idea where to start.

Machine use is 4 - 6 cups a day 5 - 7 days a week, mostly milk coffees but could change that up with a new machine and some nice espressos.

Beans are Supreme fresh all the time only by a week at a time.

    Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

How, dont have to spend the whole 3k if not necessary or could even stretch if there was a valid reason or maybe some sensational BLING!!!!
Working...
