  • Expobar Minore - 2x1200w or 2x2000w??

So whats the actual element wattage of the current minore? Ive seen both 2x1200w and 2x2000w on aussie and overseas sites. Is the aus version different to overseas versions? or is the 1200w figure from a previous minore?

Ive been craving one of these bad boys for a while now due to wanting to play with different accurate shot temps. Im also not afraid to buy from overseas if the machines are the same and there is a $1300 price difference (which there appears to be).

Re your quoted statement "... Im also not afraid to buy from overseas if the machines are the same and there is a $1300 price difference (which there appears to be)...."

If you have found someone selling a machine for such a low price and are thinking on taking up the offer, then I am afraid the onus will be upon your good self to work out if you think the machines are the same, and ofcourse if you think the usual risks and cost of import are worth it.

Mischa, if you are prepared to consider a "like new" Minore III (with original box) at a great price (will even thow in a custom Pullman) I may be able to help, only thing is that you would have to wait till October.

Thats when my bad boy arives 8-)

I meant i want 2x2000w rather than 2x1200w. Big difference especially since each boiler is only 1.5L.

Hi guys just want to clarify another spec. Boiler sizes?

On talk coffee boiler sizes are 1.7L everywhere else is quoting 1.5?

In addition; off topic is the Minore iv good at texturing milk. Say in the region of back to back 600ml jugs as opposed to say VBM Junior?

Then I goofed. Theyre 1.5L. Thanks for the heads up :-[

The Domobar Junior has more steam grunt, but either machine is more than adequate.

Why youd need to go back to back 600ml, I dont know. You can only pull 2 shots and then texture for them. The machine will be ready for the next 2 shots before you are.

As far as back to back I probably didnt describe myself well enough. I just meant as you inferred, pull shot, texture milk, pull shot.

Another question Chris while I have your attention in terms of a cooling flush on the domo. Would I need to do one between texturing and pulling the next shot?

                      No ITC,

Cooling flushes dont apply in well set up HX machines. You will need no more than a rinse.
