Seems strange that the manf dont seem to add these in.
Not really most Manf produce their goods on an assembly line. The idea is to get the end product as good a quality and as cheap as possible so it can compete with its like. Once the assembly line has to stop or slow and become more skilled labour intensive the cost sky rockets. Not every one wants a tuned up product. (e.g. cars) The option is to take a high quality average product (e.g giotto rocket) and tune it for those who are seeking perfection. Hence the user pays.
I am very please I had the oportunity to have mine pimped at purchese. Spot on temp and heaps of steam - every time.

. These mods are not for everyone- perhaps a little like "chipping" a car. More care is required- especially in the use of filtered, softened water. The machine is manufatured to suit Joe Average, but many CSers dont really fit that mould.
