    Just a suggestion re modding the drip tray.

    Mine looks very much like a Baine Marie food warming tray with the Expobar nameplate bolted on.  about 1/4 size from the look of it.

    If this is so, then rather than plugging the waste hole you drilled, just go to any catering supplies shop, or on that bay place and you should be able to get a replacement for about ten bux.

    That means you have a plumbed and non plumbed trayand thus would allow you to take the M3 with you on holidays without the hassle of taking the plumbing with you as well.

      The mugs we have at home are 200ml and awkward to fit under the Expobar when using the double spouted group handle.
      Im trying to convince my wife to use the same cups I do for my flat whites; they are also 200ml but are wider and flatter.

        Just out of interest, whats the clearance between spout and tray? I might be upgrading in some time...

          Is about 9 cm but if you use a naked you can get 12 cm
