    Chris,

please excuse my ignorance, but regarding rechroming, am I right in assuming that these groupheads are all brass? Is the dismantling of the grouphead a complicated process?

The rechroming I can get my head around, but I am still only getting into the swing of HX machines!

Would a picture a little further away be possible? It is hard to get any contrast from your current picture.

    Many thanks.

        Hi Nelo,

You will see a slight dulling to the rhs rear of the sticker. Its very difficult to get a photo of. This machine is perfect other than this small issue.

It is not that difficult to remove and replace the group, but I personally wouldnt bother.

        Chris

Re: Giotto Premium Plus Auction- discussion thread....

                  its fairly simple.
Basically you take the top off the machine. 2 bolts holding it in place and there are 2 brass fittings to remove also.

this next photo shows you the 4 bolts holding the group in

you should be able to get to all this with just the top off.
This was my machine which i had stripped and cleaned

and here it is removed. There is also a gasket

here is the view with just the top removed.
As you can see, you can get to all parts that need removing

at the current price, this thing is a steal

Bid is at $2150 and this machine will sell at 5pm.

We ran a bench test yesterday and the flaw is very minor- you have to look for it. Great opportunity to save $$$ on a new machine

Also, 20% profits will be donated to FairCrack....

                    Grab it before its gone
