Remember that the US machines are made to work on 115 to 120 volts and often have very different heaters.

It also says it will tax the barista (perhaps the reviewer in this case), not the machine
Theres no way my Expobar couldnt keep up with me.
Ive done 6 milk coffees and as many hot chocolates one after the other and it didnt skip a beat.

clearly the reviewer was actually reviewing something else
Perhaps reviewing for the US market where a gallon of milk is just enough for one cup?   ;D
    ;D ;D

Actual quote:The Brewtus III will deliver an excellent single cappuccino or double cappuccino, but will definitely tax the barista serving a dinner party if they are banging out more than three or four milk drinks in succession.
Maybe if the steam boiler pressure stat has been set incorrectly ...

Now this sounds more like the truth, I thought it sounded a bit dodgy. I did have the quote slightly wrong though, it said 3 or 4. It was from the conclusion of a long winded review on a well known site, this is why I should only read things on CS. The Brewtus 3 is the same as the Minore 3??

However, I was a bit (alot) surprised to see that one reviewer suggested that it is good for making two milk-based drinks but would struggle beyond this????
Me too- clearly the reviewer was actually reviewing something else :

Id be very surprised too if it were true.

Check out the Aromafest thread and see how crowded it was at the Di Bartoli stand.

Those machines dont get a rest all day and cope extremely well.

    A,

We use this machine at the Aroma Festival, MattB probably did about 250 piccolos lattes or more. Do not know where you got your information from. I will very happy to demonstrated if you are in Sydney, otherwise give us a call or pm me will happy to chat about it.

    Hi All,

A slight thread highjack here sorry. Ive been reading up on this machine and am interested. However, I was a bit (alot) surprised to see that one reviewer suggested that it is good for making two milk-based drinks but would struggle beyond this????

Is this the experience of people that used them? I would have expected it to pump out the steam....

Are people happy with this machine in general?

    Thanks
    a

What is the build quality like in comparison to the VBM and the Giotto?
