Re: Minore 2 - high bar pressure
run a group head gauge over it.....
Make your own for +-$25
or
Chris at TC once offered to let you do it for free # using his at his "shed", but you needed a spotless Ghead and ask nicely (buy some product?)
#not sure if he still will?

Twas thinking the same...Originally posted by 676B626F6F660A0 link=1285627937/9#9 date=1286235190is it plumbed?Originally posted by 0F373E2B1D30265F0 link=1285627937/8#8 date=1286233987Sits at 2bar when resting,
if not at rest should it not be on zero? (gauge fault?)
Have seen the odd one that will drop to Zero with a tap and or if the brew switch is run again with an open head..
Not critical, but need to remember that any values will just be an indicator and without a real gauge... All subjective.

Re: Minore 2 - high bar pressure
As far as i understood the OPV on a minore is on the front face plate behind the drip tray, but I could be mistaken. it is simple adjustment if you know what your doing, if not take it in for service and make sure you point out this as a problem or you might just get seals replaced but they are probably due anyway if its gone 2 years or more on the originals
hope this helps

Re: Minore 2 - high bar pressure
Have you tried reducing the pressure on the OPV? When you remove the drip tray you will see a hole in the frame. Behind the hole should be a visble screw, which is the OPV. I was told when I purchased my Minore 3 (which is set at factory at 12 bar) if you turn it counter clockwise by about 700 degrees (almost 2 complete turns) it would be reduced to about 9 bar.

Has anyone had their expobar pushing 13 bar under extraction.
Is it easy to fix? I havnt had it serviced, bought it 2nd hand 2yrs ago.
