I have also been told that the factory setting of 12 bar is correct for a vibration pump and should be left at that setting

They expobar actually comes from the factory with a 12 bar setting
Hi Joyo if you adjust your machine down to approx 10 bar from 12 bar factory setting you should see better results

Thanks Msta, thats helpful. Ill do that, saves me from playing around with it to find the right spot. Thanks

    Hi
    Im also interested in this.
Should the group be set to 9 or 10.
Or should I aim for a 9 when its actually brewing.

    Would love your thoughts

Ok I all ready have my machine ajusted to where it suits me using the pullman pressure guage but I`m interested to see if there is a difference in the guage readings on machines that have been calibrated

I dont think that there is going to be a precise answer.

Best bet is to get someone with a Scace device to calibrate the pressure. This is going to give you a much more accurate result.

The pressure is easily adjusted on the Expobar III. Rather than trying to "text book" calibrate the pressure why dont you do some experimentation to find out what pressure setting produces the best result in the cup!

Expobar minore III group pressure settings

Hello CS`rs just after a bit of feedback from any minore owners regarding group pressure

If the machine has been calibrated to give 9 bar at the puck, how many bars does the machines gauge show when doing a flush with the blind filter in ?

Does 10 bar on the machines guage give approx 9 bar at the puck ?

    Thanks for reading
