    thanks all for your help.
    my noob mistake,
preinfusion takes time, so the pressure doesnt rise until after a while.

If its still under warranty, best not mess with it and just contact the reseller or distributor.

Was this the one purchased off Mike Squires lol?

Anyway, if youre that concerned you might better off bringing it to Chris at Talk Coffee for a look? Saves you the stress and gives you a piece of mind at least?

When you purchased the machine did you get the person to make you a coffee or demonstrate that its working?

    Hi all
    Thanks for your help

Its only a couple of months old, still under warranty.

Its just beyond me what went wrong.

Ill try to test it with a portafilter gauge.

Do you know the history of the machine? How much use? correctly filtered water used? backflushed regularly? Does it need descaling? etc, etc. Is the group head gauge on the machine reading correctly? Can you check with an external pressure gauge on the group head.

Over time mechanical parts do fail, how old is your unit?

Though having said that I believe an OVP is meant to address the longevity of the pump (correct me if im wrong).

Wow that serious. A blown pump.

Ill check the filter when I get home.

Just wondering, How does a pump fail?

    Joyo;

Take out the filter from the water tank, some times this filter does not allow the water to come through.

otherwise look like is your pump is gone, take to your local teck, they will check all this for you.

Also, just to add, the steam pressure looks ok, reads 1 bar.

And the flow from the group seems quite weak.

    Love your wisdom

    Low pressure on Expobar minore

    Hi all

I just acquired the minore IV and would love so ke advice on why the group pressure reading is low
Stays between 2-4 bars, and when running with blind in, it only goes to about 3.

Ive tried to adjust the OPV but doesnt change it.
    Could something be loose?

    Thanks in advanced
