I just finished pulling the 3 way valve apart and everything was clean as! Then I pulled the jet out and it was blocked up pretty badly. I've stripped the 3 way valve and gave it a clean in some descale even though it was spotless. I got a pin and pushed out the gunk that got through the filter and sat it in some descale.

Once I re-assembled everything switched her on and once it heated up PRESTO! Working perfectly!

I'm absolutely rapt that I got it working because I haven't had a coffee for a couple weeks because my Vibiemme Domobar is out of action while I'm waiting for all my parts to get polished!

I'll continue to use this machine and I'll probably run a descale through it. It's a great machine and after dialing it in, I made a beautiful couple of coffees. I'm so happy with it and how it all worked out even though it had me scratching my head for a while. I'll get a few photo's up

Ok so as promised a few pics, I forgot to take a photo of the blocked jet because I was so excited I found the problem lol.

Here's a few photo's of the 3 way valve once I had it pulled apart and re-assembled. As I said earlier, I didn't get a photo of the blocked jet

So as you can see the machine's internals are almost spotless, it was in storage for a few months so it's fairly dusty but now that I have it working and pulling excellent coffee's I'll be giving it a thorough clean down and I'll get it all back together ASAP.

Not quite sure what the future of this machine will be. Either going to put it in the kitchen at work so I can enjoy lovely coffee's at work (Nespresso's capsules are terrible!), put it alongside the Vibiemme Domobar Super or it may possibly find itself in the for sale section if it doesn't work out in those 2 locations.

For the next couple weeks though, I'll be enjoying coffee's while I slowly rebuild the Domobar

Good to hear that you have it up and running again. I may have missed it when reading through the thread but did you work out what caused your safety switch to trip when you were initially testing the machine?

Nah I didn't, I'm pretty confident it was because there was no water in the boiler. The heating element would have over heated and must have over drawn current and tripped the switch. It only did it twice in a row then when I manually filled the boiler up it hasn't tripped the switch since and I've had it running quite a few times now for extended periods and using all functions.

-So basically received the machine dry as it was in storage for a few months tripped the safety switch due to no water in boiler.
-Filled the boiler manually and it worked and heated perfectly.
-Then I wasn't getting any water to the group head.
-Cleaned the blocked jet (Which must of set with a bit of scale when it was stored for those few months)
              -All functions working perfectly!

I've made about 10 coffee's over the past 2 days and oh boy it's good to have some quality coffee around the place now.
