Java "Pressure me up Scotty!" phile
For what i read and trust me (3 days in a row non stop)your are rigth! Bz40 dont have OPV! The only way of mod the pressure is on the Relief Valve Pressure in the pump it self

When its pumping from the bucket it reads 1 bar or is that the reading with the pump off?
1 bar when is pumping fron the bucket!

          From the file:

Be advised that due to the
design of the relief valve, the relief valve reacts to the difference in pressure
between the inlet and the outlet. As a result, the highest pressure which the
pump can develop at its discharge port is the inlet pressure plus the specified
          relief valve setting.
So your pump is setup perfectly for your incoming water pressure, relax go have a coffee

Is there a difference between an OPV and a pressure relief valve, apart from the name (these are also known as pressure safety valves "PSVs" in industrial applications)?

Not really, but usually OPV's will route the water back to the tank since they are expected to open most shots and the water will be cool, relief valves to the drip tray
